Luke has joined Access Courses Online Autumn Term 2023 to support students through their induction process. Not only do they get support with general study skills and encouragement when they join, Luke will support them all the way through with UCAS applications and support any barriers they may find they have when studying. SEND trained and working as an English Teacher, Luke give a friendly face and support to any ACO student who joins us, bridging the gap to being perhaps a nervous starter, to completing assignments with their full time course tutors. Having studied with the Open University, Luke is aware of the challenges faced by studying online and is here to help with that personal touch and an open office throughout a student's time with us :)
Dana is our Healthcare lead tutor for courses such as Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare Professionals. As an NHS worker and Midwife by trade, Dana has worked with Universities to support students in their degrees, and had started her entire career off from an access course! What a dream team :)
Dana welcomes Luke to the team as they discuss various aspects of online learning, what Access Courses Online is about, our ethos and, forgetting they are in a recording haha, remind us all that we are a great support team for students wanting a hands-on tutor approach to support, whilst being flexi learners at home - they could talk for hours!
