HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL LECTURE with Dana Colbourne

About Dana:
Hi, I'm Dana Colbourne, a registered midwife and educator passionate about helping students pursue careers in healthcare, especially those aspiring to enter midwifery. I understand how challenging it can be to change careers or start over, especially without the necessary qualifications. But with self-belief, support, and hard work, dreams can come true.

Like many of you, I left school without any GCSEs but eventually joined the Royal Navy. After years of sailing, I reignited my dream of becoming a midwife after witnessing my best friend's birth. I faced the challenge of gaining GCSEs and completing an access course, eventually earning a place at university and fulfilling my dream.

Now, with over 20 years of experience, I work as a midwife, teach at university, and partner with Access Courses Online to support students like you. Don’t wait—take the leap and let us guide you on your journey! We look forward to welcoming you to our taster session.
